Middleby Showroom

Lakeshore was honored to be a part of the design and construction for several components of the Middleby Residential exhibit at the Merchandize Mart (“The Mart”) downtown Chicago, which finished construction in 2023. This expansive space includes several customized vignettes which showcase various types of residential kitchen equipment from Middleby’s multiple brands, including Viking, La Cornue, Kamado Joe, and Masterbuilt. We first met with the Middleby team to decide which components they needed assistance with – versus which components they would source on their own. After many visits to get careful measurements and choose the perfect finishes, Lakeshore constructed multiple custom fabricated wood cabinets and counters with the help of our highly-skilled team of in-house carpenters. Our favorite piece we produced was a gold metallic ceiling dome with intricate cut-outs and LED perimeter lighting, which flies over one of the gorgeous high-end kitchen vignettes. Make sure to stop by this showroom if you’re at the Mart!
